Dunron is Uganda's trusted supplier of heavy-duty equipment.
After more than a decade importing quality products and equipment, Daniel saw how difficult it was for many Ugandans in agriculture and construction to afford trusted brands. Many people turned to counterfeits, which often cost more in the long run. He saw an opportunity to offer reliable, high-quality products at more affordable prices.
In 2022, after years of market research, Dunron began producing its own commissioned products. The first range included generators, water pumps, engines, motors, high-pressure washers and air compressors sourced from reputable companies in Germany, China and Italy.
In 2024, Dunron opened its own fabrication, manufacturing and assembly plant. The plant produces wheelbarrows, pressure washer frames, water pump frames and other metal structures. Local production has helped reduce the price of Dunron products.

Daniel Kyazze Kakiika is a Ugandan inventor and informed importer with more than a decade of experience in high-quality products and equipment. He founded Dunron to make reliable, affordable equipment accessible to Ugandans.

Founded in Kampala
Dunron was founded with a focus on supplying generators and water pumps to small businesses and contractors.
First Direct Imports
We established direct relationships with manufacturers in China and India, cutting costs and improving quality control.
Expanded Product Range
Added agricultural equipment, solar systems, and welding equipment lines to serve more industries.
Fabrication Plant Opens
Opened our own fabrication plant in Kampala — enabling custom builds, modifications, and faster delivery.
East Africa Expansion
Now supplying clients in Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan alongside our Uganda operations.
